Welcome to the newly formed Northwest Little League (NWLL). I am excited to bring Little League Baseball to the Kids of West Charlotte. I am Cedrick Collins, your new league president. NWLL, founded in 2012, along with all the board members, is committed to the league’s mission of providing team baseball for every player (ages 5 to 18) in the communities we serve as well as promoting level play, great sportsmanship, skill development, umpire training and providing fun & enjoyment for all.

We will also offer reduced rates for early registration along with reduced rates for volunteers with kid/s. You can register your kid/s, sponsor a team and download all the necessary forms from the league’s this website.

Due to the overwhelming support of the area leagues, NWLL has looked to establish a tradition of inter-league play in multiple divisions with other surrounding area leagues. More information on divisions and levels of play will be established as the league develops. League boundary map will be available on the website.

During registration, you will be given an opportunity to volunteer for your kid/s team or the league, and/or sponsor a team. We encourage all parents to join in to make this a success for the community.  Volunteering and sponsorships are key components to the success of NWLL. We are looking for those interested in coaching, as well as helping in concessions and team parents etc. We want each player, volunteer coach and parent to have a successful and rewarding experience. If you would like to discuss any volunteer / sponsorship opportunity, feel free to contact me directly, at cedrick.collins@northwest-little-league.com.

As I step into the President’s position, I am very excited to announce what the Executive Board has been working hard the past few months to bring this all together for the kids of our community. NWLL is proud to announce that we will be working with Local business along with CMS Schools and Parks and Recreations for the use of their facilities along with sponsorship. NWLL’s ultimate goal is to create our very own sports complex to call our very own, so any and all help will be needed.

Our partnerships with local businesses and Charlotte Mecklenburg School District will be a huge help with getting everything off and running. We are excited to be able to offer our players the opportunity to be a part of Little League Baseball with hopes of playing on National TV in the Little League World series. Please look to our website for updates on the leagues progress and when we will kick off our first official 2012 registration.

NWLL is your league and we care about what you think. Please feel free to contact any board member, if you have suggestions, questions or concerns about the league. E-mail links for every board member are on the website. If you know of anyone that would like to play or join the league, please forward this message and website along with my email address to them and we will greatly appreciate it.

Thank You, and “Let’s Play Ball”
